The project aims to inhibit brittle intermetallic compounds at the NiTi/SS interface, enhancing interfacial adhesion, and explore the magnetic field's influence on NiTi microstructure for improved multi-directional functionality. It contributes to computational methodologies for microstructure-sensitive process design, offering profound insights into process parameters and mechanical property modifications.
Anticipated outcomes include academic publications, presentations, and workshops, enriching the scientific community's understanding of Magnetic Field-Assisted Additive Manufacturing advancements.
