Neutrino oscillation experiments depend critically on a good understanding of the effects of the nucleus in neutrino-nucleus interactions, because those effects can and do alter the observed neutrino energy spectra. The MINERvA experiment at Fermilab makes precision measurements of neutrino-nucleus interaction cross sections at a few GeV neutrino energy. Measurements with more intense and more energetic neutrino beam are currently underway. This talk will present recent results and prospects from MINERvA on neutrino scattering cross section measurements.
