What the APS Ethics Committee Does

The APS established an Ethics Committee in 2019, a new committee with a broad portfolio of activities to promote ethical practices in physics. In this talk I will describe our first 3 years of activities which include advising the APS on ethics practices and procedures, updating the APS Ethics Guidelines, developing education materials, and assisting with responses to members who bring their concerns to the Society through ethics@aps.org, as well as some new projects.
