This measurement can be done at ambient conditions, that is at room temperature and atmospheric pressure, unlike x-ray microscopy methods which require cryogenic temperatures and/or high vacuums. The NV centers also provide wide-field magnetometry with millihertz frequency resolution and nanotesla sensitivity at MHz frequencies. This implies that one can investigate the dynamics of magnetic materials at high frequencies of up-to several MHz in a widefield configuration. In this work we propose a novel device based on the wide field NV based
magnetometer, which can sense strain through magneto elastic interaction and also act as probe for an array of straintronic devices. The device has the capability of sensing the static as well as the dynamic magnetization. In addition, the device can be used to trace the hysteresis loops.
