Here, we present new results on the ultrafast electronic response of these systems following an optical laser excitation. The nanostructures are described in the PPP model taking into account long-range Coulomb interactions. The correlated electron dynamics is treated within the GW approximation utilizing the newly developed G1-G2 scheme [3,4].
