I will discuss our current theoretical understanding of higher-order topology and Majorana zero modes in Fe-based superconductors and their heterostructures (e.g. Fe/SeTe). I will also discuss, if time permits, the exciting new possibility of a Mobius insulator phase in MnBiTe system.
The talk is based mainly on the work of Ruixing Zhang and others at Maryland, and the appropriate references are: PRL 122, 187001 (2019) and PRL 123, 167001 (2019) and arXiv:1910.11906.
