in beta-Li2IrO3 can be qualitatively understood by commensurate period-3 state stabilized
in rather extended range of parameters of the J-K-Gamma model. This state shares many
qualitative features with the experimentally observed order such as similar propagation wave
vector, counter-rotation and non-coplanarity and, most importantly, has the same symmetry.
We find that this period-3 state has very different structure when either K or Gamma interaction
is dominant. We perform a linear spin wave analysis and compute the magnon excitation spectra,
and the dynamical structural factor for both phases. Based on the obtained results we suggest that
different momentum and energy dependence of the neutron-scattering intensity provides distinctive
qualitative and quantitative fingerprints of the K-dominant or Gamma-dominant states and thus
gives additional information on the relative strength of these interactions in beta-Li2IrO3.
