curvature effects on the growth of the Kelvin-Helmholtz instability
(KHI). It is found that KHI growth rate is higher when the shear flow
has a negative initial curvature than linearly sheared initial flow. The
growth rate is lower when the initial shear flow has a positive curvature.
The growth rate under positive curvature decreases with increasing
positive curvature.
