The Meetings Scheduler allows you to create a personal schedule to keep track of the presentations and events that you want to attend during a meeting. You may add up to 200 items. You can also use the Scheduler to add events not listed in the Bulletin of the American Physical Society (BAPS), such as your meals or personal appointments.
Create an Account
To create a personal schedule, you must first create an account. Your APS Membership login information is not stored by BAPS. Even APS members must create a new account on BAPS. You may, however, use your APS Membership login information to create your BAPS account.
- Click Create Account from the navigation to the left.
- Fill in the short form.
- Click Continue.
- Your account is created
Adding Abstract Presentations
- Click Session Index from the navigation to the left.
- Click a session you want to attend. The Session window will open.
- Click Add this event under each presentation you want to attend.
- Your session is added to your schedule.
Personal Events
Adding Events- Click Personal Event from the navigation to the left.
- Fill in the form.
- Click Continue.
- My Schedule opens and you can see your entry.
- Click My Schedule from the navigation to the left.
- My Schedule opens and you can view all sessions and events.
- Click the event name (e.g., Lunch) to open the event.
- Click Edit Event under the event information.
Deleting Entries
- You can delete your event entries using the Session Index or My Schedule.
- Click Session Index or My Schedule.
- Find the session or event that you want to delete.
- Click Remove this event under any presentation you wish to remove.
Event Conflicts
If you add an event that conflicts with an event already on your schedule, you see a Resolve conflicts warning graphic. Scheduling conflicts also appear when you view your schedule.
Exiting My Schedule
When you finish with your schedule, please click Logout from the navigation to the left. Closing the browser window will NOT end your session!
Copies of Your Schedule
You can have a PDF version of your schedule emailed to you or print it immediately.
- Click My Schedule from the navigation to the left.
- My Schedule opens and you can view all sessions and events.
- In the top right corner are options for receiving a PDF or printing.
- Click PDF version to receive a PDF of your schedule by email. You may receive one PDF copy per day.
- Click Printer Friendly Version to open an uncluttered version of your schedule.
- In the top right corner on the print view, click Print.
