Women in Plasma Physics Reception

The members of the Committee on Women in Plasma Physics invite you to join them for an inclusive reception and talk on mental health in physics by Dr. Andrea Welsh (University of Pittsburgh). The high pressure environment to achieve excellence in academia and research leads to a broad range of mental health issues that are often not acknowledged. This affects minorities harder as they already struggle to fit within a system which is often biased against them. Information on how to join this session remotely, will be available in the meeting platform.
