In near future, this new short-focal length beamline will be equipped with a re-collimating double-plasma mirror, providing ultra-high temporal contrast with high peak intensity. This enables experiments with advanced concepts such as radiation pressure acceleration and magnetic vortex acceleration of ion beams. The outlook toward 100 MeV level laser-driven ion beam sources will be discussed as well. The BELLA Center is a part of LaserNetUS, providing access to users.
