tions. LANSCE’s nuclear physics mission includes the study of neutron-induced reactions for nuclear astrophysics and applications using a pair of spallation neutron sources. The
accelerator reached 50 years of operation this year, and we have developed an accelerator sustainment and facility upgrade plan supporting its next 30 years of operation. The results
of this planning effort will be presented with a focus on potential capabilities to enable direct measurements of neutron-induced reactions on short-lived nuclei.
