Abstract: HA.00001 : Scrutinizing contaminants via beta spectra and lifetimes in the He6-CRES experiment

Collaboration:
He6-CRES Collaboration
looks at producing high-precision measurements of the beta spectra of 6He and 19Ne. These are produced via
7Li(d,3He) and 19F(p,n). We will present our plan and initial data to search for possible contaminants that could affect
the experiment. The main tools are measurements of halflifes and thick-scintillator data to identify the contaminants.
