by mapping to highly resolved 3D mesh with suitable 3D seed-perturbations. Challenges coupling 3D hydrodynamics and multiphysics are discussed in this context. Elaboration of
the results presented includes analysis of the vorticity production budget and transition signatures, evolution of quantities of interest and their uncertainty analysis, and comparisons
with NIF data.
