We conducted an extensive numerical investigation of particle-laden Newtonian fluid flows through rectangular channels featuring one way surface. Employing a customized solver designed to meet specific requirements, we leveraged OpenFOAM's standard solver dictionaries and C++ coding capabilities to handle complex calculus functions. The result indicate that wave characteristics, such as wavelength and amplitude, have a pronounced effect on particle movement. Additionally, we explore how the behavior of the dispersed phase varies with different Stokes and Reynolds numbers.
Our findings offer significant insights into the dynamics of dispersed phases in channel flows with wavy base structures for future studies and practical applications.
