Contrary to heavy particles, where inertia plays a significant role, the dynamics of light particles are driven by added mass, whose effects are crucial when considering turbulence-induced unsteadiness. As a result, the behaviour of light particles reveals a different physical regime, distinct from the inertia-driven dynamics observed in heavier particles. A detailed analysis of statistics for both the solid and fluid phases will be presented at the conference.
