Systematic evaluation of the JILA Wannier-Stark optical lattice clock

We present results on the evaluation of the systematic uncertainty of the JILA  strontium optical lattice clock operated in the Wannier Stark regime. The current overall uncertainty of the strontium optical lattice clock is primarily constrained by the uncertainty of the atom's dynamic sensitivity to black-body radiation. The main limitation arises from the limited knowledge of the dynamic polarizability. Our efforts focus on enhancing the understanding of the dynamic polarizability, involving the measurement of the dipole moment for a dominant transition [1,2,3]. We also provide characterization of other systematic uncertainties of the JILA optical lattice clock and provide an overall uncertainty number.
