The BABAR Collaboration
The results are based on a dataset of 430 $fb^{-1}$ $e^{+}e^{-} \rightarrow B \bar{B}$ decays collected at the BABAR detector at the PEP-II collider.
We search for decays where the outgoing visible particle is a Standard Model baryon (proton or lambda) and is accompanied by missing mass. The missing mass of signal meson is considered as the mass of the dark particle. Stringent upper limits on the decay branching fractions are derived for masses between 1.0 and 4.3 GeV/c.
*We are grateful for the extraordinary contributionsof our PEP-II colleagues in achieving the excellent luminosityand machine conditions that have made thiswork possible. The success of this project also reliescritically on the expertise and dedication of the computingorganizations that support BABAR, includingGridKa, UVic HEP-RC, CC-IN2P3, and CERN. The collaboratinginstitutions wish to thank SLAC for its supportand the kind hospitality extended to them.
