An advanced tracking software is crucial for reliable event reconstruction and further physics analysis. In this presentation, an overview of the new tracking algorithm based on the cellular automaton method, customized for MUSE detector geometry is presented. The details of the algorithm and encountered challenges will be discussed.
*This material is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under NSF grant PHY-2110229. The MUSE experiment is supported by the DOE, NSF, PSI, and the US-Israel Binational Science Foundation.
