The early universe can be a fertile ground to probe physics beyond the Standard Model. In this poster, we study the observable effects of sterile neutrinos that decay around the time of Big Bang Nucleosynthesis (BBN). These decays can significantly affect the nearly-thermal active neutrino distributions. We discuss how these non-thermal spectra alter the production of light elements in BBN and how the neutrino spectra affect the formation of large scale structure.
