Status and prospects of the electron recoil channel in XENONnT*

XENONnT recently published the first search results with low-energy electron-recoil data. Compared with XENON1T, the liquid xenon target is increased by ~4 and the background rate in the region of interest is reduced by a factor of 5. With an exposure of 1.16 tonne-years, we observe no excess above background and set stringent new limits on solar axions, an enhanced neutrino magnetic moment, and bosonic dark matter. The ultra-low O(10keV) electron recoil background also demonstrates the possibility for XENONnT to contribute to other topics like solar neutrino measurement in the near future.
