B10.00001: Search for double Higgs boson production in the four bottom quark final state using boosted large-radius jets with the CMS detector Irene Dutta The double Higgs production (HH) allows us to measure the Higgs self-interaction and is uniquely sensitive to the structure of the Higgs potential. This talk will cover the boosted production of HH→4b in the gluon-fusion (ggF) production mode with 138 fb-1 of data collected at the CMS Experiment at √s = 13 TeV. This analysis uses dedicated jet identification algorithms developed to identify boosted H→bb jets, which are built using Dynamic Graph Convolutional Neural Networks (DGCNN), to analyze each particle inside the jet with the goal of identifying its specific jet substructure features [1][2]. A Boosted Decision Tree (BDT) is designed to distinguish the HH signal from QCD and top background processes. The QCD background is estimated from control regions using a data-driven fit and the top background is estimated from Monte Carlo simulations with corrections derived from the data. Corrections to the shape of the HH signal Monte Carlo simulations (due to known pT dependent disagreement in the DGCNN efficiency) are derived using a data sample enriched in boosted g→bb (gluon splitting) proxy jets. I will show the final sensitivity of this analysis to the Higgs self-coupling (κλ) and discuss future directions and scope of improvements for measuring the HH process. |

B10.00002: Search for Higgs Boson Pair Production in the Multi-lepton Final State Using Proton-Proton Collision Data at $\sqrt{s} =13$ TeV from the ATLAS Detector Santosh Parajuli This talk will present a search strategy for Higgs boson pair-production in final states with three electrons or muons. The analysis is performed using an integrated luminosity of 139 fb$^{-1}$ of $pp$ collision at $\sqrt{s}= 13$ TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. There are many decay modes of Higgs boson pairs that have low branching ratios, and many of these are not covered by dedicated analyses. Some example modes of particular interest for a three lepton final state are WWWW, WW$\tau \tau$, $\tau \tau \tau \tau$, etc. This talk presents the development of a multivariate strategy (boosted decision trees) and current work on background estimation methods and statistical analysis. |

B10.00003: Measurement prospects for di-Higgs production in the HH→bbγγ channel with the ATLAS experiment at the HL-LHC Alex Z Wang, Sau L Wu We present a prospect study on di-Higgs production in the HH→bbγγ decay channel with the ATLAS experiment at the High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC). The results are obtained by extrapolating the results from the Run 2 measurement, with 139 fb−1 of data at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, to the conditions expected at the HL-LHC. While there is no sign of di-Higgs production with the current LHC dataset, the much higher luminosity (3000 fb−1) and energy (14 TeV) at the HL-LHC will enable a much better measurement of this important process. We describe in detail the extrapolation process and assumptions, and multiple scenarios for the treatment of systematic uncertainties at the HL-LHC are considered. Under the baseline systematic uncertainty scenario, the extrapolated precision on the Standard Model di-Higgs signal strength measurement is 50%, corresponding to a significance of 2.2σ. The extrapolated 1σ confidence interval from a measurement of κλ, the trilinear Higgs boson self-coupling modifier, is [0.3, 1.9]. |

B10.00004: Search for boosted Higgs boson pair production in the bbVV all-hadronic final state in CMS Raghav Kansal, Javier M Duarte We present developments in a search for boosted (pT > 250 GeV) Higgs boson pair production, where one Higgs decay to bb quarks and the other to two vector bosons in the all-hadronic final state. Using data collected by the CMS experiment in 2016—2018, corresponding to 137 inverse femtobarns, we show an expected upper limit on HH pair production using a cut-based analysis and a newly developed H(WW) graph neural network tagger. Such an analysis can provide insight into the trilinear Higgs self-coupling as well as the vector-boson-Higgs couplings. |

B10.00005: Combination of Searches for Higgs Pair Production in pp collisions at √s=13 TeV with the ATLAS Detector Jannicke Pearkes Searches for Higgs pair production (HH) are the only direct method of studying the Higgs self-interaction at the LHC. This talk will present the latest ATLAS HH combination results with the full Run 2 dataset of 139/fb at √s=13 TeV. By combining results from three different complementary search channels, bbγγ, bbττ, and bbbb, the HH combination is sensitive to new physics in both non-resonant and resonant interpretations. |

B10.00006: Search for Dark Matter produced in association with a Higgs boson decaying to a pair of b quarks and combination of Dark Matter search with 2HDM+$a$ with the ATLAS detector Jay Chan Dark Matter (DM) searches are of great importance to the LHC program. In this talk, I will first present a DM search using the Higgs boson as a portal. This search targets events that contain large missing transverse momentum and either two $b$-tagged small-radius jets or a single large-radius jet associated with two $b$-tagged sub-jets. No significant excess with respect to the SM prediction is observed. The results are then interpreted to set limits on two benchmark models with a second Higgs doublet and an additional heavy vector boson (2HDM+$Z^\prime$) or a pseudoscalar singlet (2HDM+$a$), both of which provide a viable DM candidate. I will focus on how events are selected and categorized to enhance sensitivity to DM signals, and to help model the major backgrounds. Finally, I will also talk about the latest summary and combination of the searches for DM within 2HDM+$a$. |

B10.00007: Measurement of the CP-violating phase φs in B0s→J/ψφ decays in ATLAS at 13 TeV Easwar Anand Narayanan A measurement of the B0s→J/ψφ decay parameters using 80 fb-1 of integrated luminosity collected with the ATLAS detector from 13 TeV proton-proton collisions at the LHC is presented. The measured parameters include the CP-violating phase φs, the width difference △Γs between the B0s meson mass eigenstates and the average decay width Γs. The values measured for the physical parameters are combined with those from 19.2 fb-1 of 7 TeV and 8 TeV data, leading to the following: |

B10.00008: Probing exotic B decays and other low mass resonances using CMS data scouting Hardik Routray Enabled by the novel technique of data scouting, CMS reach for low mass resonances has improved significantly. In this talk, we present the first search for a light scalar arising from the decay of a B hadron at CMS. We also highlight other low-mass resonance searches performed in the dimuon, dijet, and multijet channels using scouting. Lastly, we discuss other new searches possible by scouting and also show using current results and sensitivity studies that CMS reach for B decays are competitive with LHCb and Belle II. |
