combining numerical relativity waveforms with analytical models. More
specifically, we use the analytical models for the slow inspiral phase
and numerical relativity waveforms for the faster inspiral, merger, and
ring-down phases. To hybridize, we align the two waveforms in the
co-precessing frame and then find appropriate rotations and time
translations that maximize the overlap of the two waveforms in a
hybridization interval. We discuss the accuracy and limitations for such
hybrids in the context of LIGO observations.
