L10.00001: Search for resonant decays in $B\rightarrow XK^*$, $X\rightarrow J/\psi\pi\pi$ Brandon Drummond We present here a study of $B \rightarrow XK^{*}$ with $X \rightarrow J/\psi\pi\pi$ produced in approximately $280~{\rm fb}^{-1}$ of $e^{+}e^{-}$ annihilations near $10.6~GeV$. The search was carried out with data recorded by the BaBar experiment operating at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ storage rings at SLAC. [Preview Abstract] |

L10.00002: Angular analysis of $B\rightarrow J/\psi K^*$, $B\rightarrow \psi(2S) K^*$ and $B\rightarrow \chi_{c1} K^*$ Emmanuel Latour We present the angular analysis of $B\rightarrow J/\psi K^*$, $B\rightarrow \psi(2S) K^*$ and $B\rightarrow \chi_{c1} K^*$, using $209~{\rm fb}^{-1}$ data of the BaBar detector at the PEP- II asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ storage rings at SLAC. This angular analysis aims at measuring the decay transversity amplitudes in absolute value and strong phases. This allows to probe the hadronic form factor models of the Factorization scheme in color-supressed modes. This study represents an update with increased luminosity for $B\rightarrow J/\psi K^*$ decays, the first BaBar measurement in $B\rightarrow \psi(2S) K^*$ decays, and the first measurement ever in $B\rightarrow \chi_{c1} K^*$ decays. L10.00003: Measurement of $\bar{B}^{0} \rightarrow D^{(*)+}\pi^{-}$ and $B^{-} \rightarrow D^{(*)0}\pi^{-}$ decays Haiwen Zhao We present new measurements of branching fractions for the color-favored decays $\bar{B}^{0} \rightarrow D^{(*)+}\pi^{-}$ and $B^{-} \rightarrow D^{(*)0}\pi^{-}$. Using a data set of integrated luminosity of $59.0\,{\rm fb}^{-1}$ taken with BaBar detector at the $\Upsilon (4S)$ resonance, we measured the branching fractions for these decays and obtained the strong phase difference between the $I=1/2$ and $I=3/2$ isospin amplitudes. The result suggests the presence of final state interactions in the $D^{(*)}\pi$ system. [Preview Abstract] |

L10.00004: Observation and study of exclusive protonic $B$ decays to $D^{(*)} p\bar{p}\ n\pi$, $n=0,1,2$ final states Tae Min Hong Using a data sample of $211 {\rm fb}^{-1}$ recorded by the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ $B$ Factory at SLAC, we perform measurements of the branching fractions for ten Cabibbo-favored $B$ decays to final states of the form ${\bar B}^0,~B^- \rightarrow D^{(*)} p\bar{p}\ n\pi$, $n=0,1,2$. L10.00005: Search for $B$ Meson Decays to Two Charm Baryons Xuedong Chai We present measurements of the branching ratios of $B$ decays to charm baryon pairs in the reactions $\bar{B} \rightarrow\Lambda_c\:\overline{\Lambda_c}\:K$ and $\bar{B}\rightarrow\Xi_c\:\overline{\Lambda_c}$. The analysis is based on a $210\,{\rm fb}^{-1}$ data sample collected by the BaBar detector at the PEP-II $e^+e^-$ storage rings at SLAC. [Preview Abstract] |

L10.00006: Measurement of ${\cal B}(\bar{B^{0}} \rightarrow \Lambda_{c}^{+} \bar{p})$ at BaBar Stephanie A. Majewski We present a branching fraction measurement for the decay $\bar {B^{0}} \rightarrow \Lambda_{c}^{+} \bar{p}$ in a sample of 232 million $B{\bar B}$ pairs collected with the BaBar detector at the PEP-II $e^+e^-$ storage rings at SLAC. Studies of these charmed baryonic $B$ decays provide a way to check various theoretical models and aid in predicting the branching fractions of their charmless counterparts. [Preview Abstract] |

L10.00007: Study of $B^{-} \rightarrow \Lambda_{c}^{+} \bar{p} \pi^{-}$ at BaBar Beth Nowadnick We present a branching fraction measurement for the decay $B^{- } \rightarrow \Lambda_{c}^{+} \bar{p} \pi^{-}$ using data from 232 million $B\bar{B}$ pairs collected at the BaBar detector at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. We compare this branching fraction measurement to the branching fraction of the two-body mode $\bar{B^{0}} \rightarrow \Lambda_{c}^{+} \bar{p} $. This comparison can yield insight into the dynamics of baryon production. We also study the resonant substructure of the three-body decay. [Preview Abstract] |

L10.00008: Dalitz plot analysis of 3$\pi/K\pi\pi/K_{\rm S}^0KK$ at BaBar Gagan Bihari Mohanty We present the measurement of decay amplitudes and phases in decays of $B$ mesons to $\pi^+\pi^-\pi^+$, $K^+\pi^+\pi^-$ and $K_{\rm S}^0 K^+ K^-$ final states. We use a sample of approximately 230 million $B$-meson pairs recorded at the $\Upsilon(4S)$ resonance by the BaBar detector at the PeP-II $B$-Factory at SLAC. [Preview Abstract] |

L10.00009: Measurement of the branching fraction of B0 meson decay to $a_1 \pi$ Vincenzo Lombardo We present a measurement of the branching fraction of the decay $B^0\rightarrow a^+_1 \pi^-$. The data set consists of approximately 218 million $B\overline{B}$ pairs produced in electron-positron annihilation at the PEP-II collider and recorded by the BaBar detector. [Preview Abstract] |
