an anomalous suppression of long-wavelength density fluctuations that endows them with
novel transport, mechanical and optical properties. I will describe two different
tessellation-based procedures that lead to disordered systems that are hyperuniform.
Both methodologies convert initially disordered nonhyperuniform systems into
disordered hyperuniform ones.
