F4.00001: W9 - 3D Resistor Networks Brian Lamore An article in the most recent issue of \textit{The Physics Teacher} (February 2015) entitled ``Platonic Relationships Among Resistors'' by Brad Allen examines 3D resistor networks. Although the analysis of such networks can be complex, the author found ways of making these analyses appropriate for high school level students also. In this workshop we will build and analyze 3D resistor networks. Participants can build a set of their own shapes to take with them. [Preview Abstract] |
