F3.00001: W1 - Teaching Physics for the First Time Karen Jo Matsler, Evelyn Restivo, Mary Norris This AAPT/PTRA workshop is based on the newly released book ``Teaching Physics for the First Time'' but you don't have to be a first year teacher to get some great ideas for your classroom. This book is full of great ways to get your students involved while teaching fundamental concepts. This workshop is also appropriate for physical science teachers who are or will teach physics. The book will be available to purchase at a reduced cost to attendees after completing the session. [Preview Abstract] |
