A comparative study of the growth rate and physical changes for Escherichia coli bacteria is conducted under different types of magnetic fields. Both liquid nutrient broth and solid agar were used at room temperature to compare the effect of media as well. We found significant changes in the growth rates under different kind of magnetic fields. Liquid and solid media were effected differently as well.
