are constructing a portable electrostatic ion accelerator
at Georgia College. As the target chamber and beam dump
will be at high voltage, a battery powered beam current integrator
and calibration current source are being developed. The BCI utilizes
an SPA100 source picoammeter which will be read out by a Raspberry Pi
using custom code. The calibration source will produce currents from
50 nA to 10 μA using 5V from a USB output, resister chains,
and a selector switch.
