During the workshop, we will present you with two different tools to assess and support students' learning process. The goal is to examine the tools, the feasibility of its use, and engage in the exploration of data collected in real classroom settings. We will foster spaces of collaboration amongst participants to better support the individual goals development. If times allows it, we will engagein the exploration of video data to better observe the micro-patterns of socio-metacognition during students' interactions.
We recognize the benefits of collaborative learning environments and how social interactions can be complex. Therefore, we consider we need to expand the conversation and tools we implement in a collaborative leraning environment. This workshop will be facilitated with the lens of the benefits and complexities it takes to self regulate in a social environment and providing grace to participants and facilitators of any given learning environment.
