2A.00001: Building Relationships between Physics Departments and Schools of Education Invited Speaker: Alice Churukian A good relationship between the Physics Department and the Schools of Education is an important component of a successful and sustainable physics teacher education program.~ Every institution has their own idiosyncrasies which can hinder or enhance the relationship.~ Panelists will discuss their experiences with building and sustaining such relationships at their institutions, focusing on communication between academic units, advisement of pre-service physics teachers, and collaboration on STEAM education projects.
