XRD and DRIFTS study of Titania/Zinc Oxide Nanofibers

Titania nanofibers are very promising materials for high- temperature applications, and in recent years, electrospinning has been typically used for their production. With the objective of controlling the properties of the formed nanofibers, titania nanofibers doped with zinc oxide were annealed at different temperatures. Characterization of these fibers involved the use of TGA, powder XRD, SEM and DRIFTS methods; allowing a better understand of formation of these materials, and determination of their structure and composition.
