Integrated Elemental, Gravitational, and Radiative Model for Human Adaptation to Celestial Bodies*

This study presents a novel integrated model for evaluating human adaptability to extraterrestrial environments, combining elemental similarity, gravitational compatibility, availability of bio-essential elements, and radiation exposure. Inspired by previous investigations into the elemental overlap between the human body and lunar regolith, and the gravitational implications for physiology, this work develops a quantitative index of planetary habitability using a weighted formula incorporating four parameters. Findings suggest that while the Moon shares significant elemental composition with the human body, Mars offers more favorable gravity and resource availability. This approach aims to inform future mission planning and long-term human settlement strategies across planetary bodies. The model builds upon earlier studies (Al-Fatesh, 2024a; 2024b) and calls for a multidisciplinary framework in astrobiology and space colonization research.
