Magnon is a quasiparticle of a spin wave in magnetically ordered materials. Under an extrinsic electric field, magnons interact with an electric field through a quantum mechanical phase called Ahoranov-Casher phase.
Here, we find an explicit form of the magnon current and it can be understood with the help of the similarity to the Landau diamagnetism in electronic systems. Moreover, we find the relationship between the response and the fluctuation of the occupation numbers, clarifying the difference between the particle statistics of magnons and electrons.
