Hybrid variational quantum algorithms (HVQAs) are promising in solving combinatorial optimization, sensing, quantum simulation, and quantum machine learning. However, external classical optimization loop is required to mitigate potential noise issues in the current quantum hardware. With the continous advance for less noisy hardware, we need a pure quantum path to achieve the potential benefits of the quantum computing before fault-tolerant quantum computing becomes viable. Our study takes advantage of the parametric structure of hybrid quantum circuits and embedding quantum optimization with the core quantum algorithm to create a quantum application. We validate our ideas through toy spin models and simple quantum chemistry models to demonstrate the algorithm and protocols.
