Assembling LiCs in an Optical Tweezer*

We report on advancements in assembling LiCs in an optical tweezer. A significant challenge in efficiently assembling bialkalis in tweezers is the ground state cooling of two atoms. We introduce new methods that have enhanced this process, including an order of magnitude improvement in the imaging survival rate for Li using GM and Cs using the narrow 5D line. We also present a refined cooling model that accurately predicts the steady-state temperature and scattering rate within the tweezer. In addition, we will discuss the spectroscopy of Li and Cs in the tweezer, Feshbach resonances, and our ongoing efforts in achieving ground state assembly.
