The samples were evaluated by molecular modeling using the functional theory of density (DFT), for the determination of structural properties; in the visual characterization of its morphology, scanning electron microscopy was used and a hydrothermal, oxidative process was carried out until its stabilization, calcination and activation to obtain it as ACF.
In the results of the present work, micro fibrils corresponding to the cell wall where most of the modification is carried out which can be seen and related to molecular modeling. In addition, the effect on the different transformations of the structure they have on the lignocellulosic material is analyzed. The samples obtained from the precursor were characterized by atomic absorption spectroscopy (AA) and scanning electron microscopy (MEB). From the results obtained, it was concluded that sulfuric acid is the best option as an activator in a previously stabilized and mercerized lignocellulosic fiber and for a removal of lead ions
