Incorporating the retardation effect in cavity-mediated superconductivity of cold atoms*

Transitioning to superconductivity has been observed in metals, and many aspects of it has been explored so far. A similar transitioning can occur in a system of fermions coupled to cavity modes where photons mediate an attraction between the trapped fermions. Therefore, fermions can pair up and condensate at sufficiently low temperatures. Given the magnitude of the coupling between atoms, we can also determine the transitioning temperature from the normal state to anomalous states, for which the order parameter of our system takes a non-vanishing value.
