In d-DNP CP sequences the hydrogen spins are allowed to achieve a large polarization first that is then transferred to either 13C or 6Li spins via CP including the possibility of using the dipolar bath to indirectly transfer spin order. Optimization of polarization conditions, temperature and magnetic field would allow also to implement and improve sequences that rely on the dipolar bath rather than in direct transfer of polarization between easily polarizing hydrogen and low gamma nuclei such as 13C spins [1].
Several aspects of cross polarization for low temperatures with respect to d-DNP experiments are reviewed specifically for cases involving different hardware conditions.
