reaction is a promising approach for targeted self-healing materials and recyclable 3D printing materials.
In the presentation, reversible epoxies and their composite with plasmonic nanomaterials will be
studied for their 3D printability and mechanical properties before and after recycling processes. Various
formulations of reversible epoxies will be examined for 3D printing, for example, architecture, molecular
weight, the mixing ratio between precursors, and concentration of plasmonic nanomaterials. Processing
parameters for 3D printing of a selected formulation. Recycle processes will be carried
out by a solution method (i.e., dissolution in hot solvent and recovery) and a thermal cycle using bulk
heating or light. Their mechanical properties will be characterized and compared before and after
the recycling processes.
