on a ruby lattice [Phys. Rev. X 11, 031005 (2021)] we present analytical results for a special dimer model
on the {it non-bipartite} and {it non-planar} ruby lattice with additional links crossing the square plaquettes.
This exactly solvable model realizes a fully gapped and disordered dimer liquid phase with topological degeneracy
and deconfined fractional excitations.
Additionally, we elaborate on an exact mapping to $mathbb{Z}_2$ lattice gauge theory previously only investigated
in the context of planar dimer models.
