Alongside these initiatives, we started other online campaigns to raise awareness, including 11F, Real Women Scientist like You, which attracted over 5,000 participants the week of February 11th, 2022. This campaign featured real scientists from the area to inspire young girls to pursue more STEM-related career paths.
For the second year in a row, our SPACE week has been executed with great success, drawing participants from the area and reaching over 2,000 participants in all of our online events. Our lectures offer a secure, welcoming setting that encourages open participation.
*Authors would like to thank Universidad de Guanajuato and the kind support of US Embassy Guatemala for supporting the STEAM Program.
