Transitional metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) offer an attractive platform for next-generation room temperature excitonic devices [1]. In this work, we experimentally demonstrate control over directed transport [2] of excitons in a 1D exciton guide in monolayer WSe2 at room temperature. The exciton flux is manipulated using an external electric field on the order of 105 V/cm in the transverse direction utilizing a combination of stark shift and excitonic dissociation [3]. We observed an extinction ratio greater than 15 dB in devices with ~1.5 µm channel length. Such spatial manipulation of excitonic energy at room temperature is a critical step towards achieving an optoexcitonics platform for data communication and processing.
