As part of our vision to grow the quantum ecosystem, we have created the Sydney Quantum Experience program for graduate students in the emerging field of quantum technology. PhD students selected for the program join a (co-) supervisor at one of our four partner universities, and gain access to core and bespoke quanutm and related courses at all four universities. They join a cohort not only in their reserach groups, but also across the partnership and the city.
The coursework component of the program covers the core themes of quantum science and technology from both a fundamental theory and a practical perspective. Regular research seminars and development workshops are provided and are designed to help students develop complementary skills such as entrepreneurship and career development strategies. The program also offers unrivalled networking opportunities, both within academia and a growing list of industry partners in Sydney, Australia and around the world.
*The Sydney Quantum Academy is generously supported by Macquarie University, the University of New South Wales, the University of Sydney, the Univeristy of Technology Sydney and the state of New South Wales.
