1C.00001: GSNP Short Course: Machine Learning in Statistical and Nonlinear Physics Machine learning tools play a growing role in progress in many fields of science. The complex systems addressed by statistical and nonlinear physics are often well suited to exploration with machine learning. In turn, the physics approaches for studying these systems has lead to improvements in machine learning in a new area called the "Physics of Artificial Intelligence." This workshop will include pedagogical talks by experts in our field as well as hands-on computational activities. |
