The talk describes a test beam facility by the Mainz group at the MAMI accelerator in Mainz where the prototype detectors for MOLLER and P2 have been extensively tested. A total of about 1000 h beam on detectors has been used for the research and development work for MOLLER and P2. Those tests at the electron accelerator MAMI in Mainz provide an ideal opportunity to validate, benchmark and optimize the Monte Carlo simulations. In this talk an overview of the test beam facility is given and selected results are presented.
