As a nuclear physicist film director I will discuss the making of “Rare Connections”, from concept through cinematography to editing. We will delve into the creative process behind the film, the impact of viewing science through the lens of the arts, and how this interdisciplinary approach can engage and inspire varied audiences to connect with scientific endeavors in profound and meaningful ways, and can spark a dialogue that transcends disciplinary boundaries and inspires new ways of perceiving science and its accessibility.
