One of the recommendations from the APS-DPP Community Planning Process report was for FES to support the creation and maintenance of a public-facing website to engage with the public.
In 2021, the US Fusion Outreach Team led the creation of USFusionEnergy.org under the support of FES and the Princeton fusion communication fund. The site, which launched in November of 2021, features fusion explainers, news, events, a map highlighting fusion centers (university programs, National labs, private industries, and advocacy groups), and a central repository of fusion jobs.
In this presentation we will discuss the role of the site for the community, its mission and objectives and solicit input from the community regarding ways it can better serve the US fusion efforts.
