LE02.00001: Physics of Plasmas Virtual Reception in Honor of All Authors and Invited Speakers Michael Mauel The Editors of Physics of Plasmas and AIP Publishing invite you to a reception in honor of the Invited, Tutorial, and Review speakers and the authors and referees who have contributed to the published record of many advancements of plasma physics during the past year. In recognition of Ronald Davidson’s 25 years of exceptional service as Editor-in-Chief of Physics of Plasmas, AIP Publishing is also pleased to present the 2020 Ronald C. Davidson Award for Plasma Physics to John Foster, Professor of Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Professor Foster was selected from among the most highly cited and most highly downloaded articles from Physics of Plasmas during the past five years. The paper titled, ``Plasma-based water purification: Challenges and prospects for the future," Physics of Plasmas 24, 055501 (2017), presented a comprehensive review of the developing physics of the plasma-liquid interface, the methods used to interact plasma with liquid water, and the role of these processes in water purification.
