Collaboration:
The IDS Collaboration
configuration during an experiment at the ISOLDE Decay Station. A key
component of the array is its digital data acquisition system based on
32-channel 14-bit 250 MSPS digitizers developed by XIA LLC. The custom
firmware enabled a low threshold triggering scheme. The NEXT digital
system was synchronized with the Pixie16-based Isolde Decay Station
setup using an external clock, and the individual data streams were
combined in software. The details of the experimental system will be
discussed with a focus on the NEXT neutron detector.
